Tuesday 14 October 2003 Sinterklaas (although a bit later) has a real treat for you! The return of Monguito! They are scheduled to play at the Scheld'apen, Antwerp on Saturday 13th December. Also on the bill is the Rudy Trouvé Sextet!

Saturday 27 September 2003 Monguito's new vinyl album "17 Rubis Anti Choc" should be released before too long, but we have to bit more patient first! Also, hopefully some live video footage of Monguito (amongst other projects) will be featured in the documentary about Mauro due to be screened on Canvas in December.

Wednesday 10 September 2003 Monguito are taking a kind of a break at the moment - but don't worry they will be back before long. In the meantime, soon Miguel and Mauro's new project, The Pparrallel's will be unleashed on the unsuspecting public in the form of a limited edition cd. Wednesday 2 April 2003 Sorry - in the last update we incorrectly mentioned that Monguito had recorded a track on the forthcoming Glamour is Undead Soundtrack. Although, on the bright side 66% of Monguito do appear on this soundtrack in one form or another, and the cd is due out in the next week or so.

Monday 24 March 2003 Monguito have apparently recorded a track on the forthcoming Glamour is Undead Soundtrack. This soundtrack including Eavesdropper, Stryofoam, Bohrbug will be released shortly on Knobsounds, Eavesdropper's label. Also, according to the AB Website, the soundtrack will be presented as part of the AB Domino festival in Brussels next month.

Tuesday 11 March 2003 Monguito's new album has now been recorded and is currently being mixed! A new working title is "17 Rubis Anti Choc".

Sunday 2 March 2003 As mentioned in the last update, Monguito are due to record their first album on vinyl this week. There will be a limited edition of 300 copies, the first 100 of which will contain a remix video of their performance at the the cc spinoy gig back in January. Also Monguito will play this Thursday (6th March) in Antwerpen. More details in the performances section.
Wednesday 12 February 2003 Monguito are currently working on their next release. It is planned to be a vinyl release together with a live video performance, and so far the working title of the release is "The Book of Skeletronics".
